Aki Mitsui, The Sandmeister
The former president of NISSEI Commerce in Japan, who found my sand art at the Frankfurt trade show and became the first international distribution partner. After he retired, the company was passed on to the next generatin, his son Yusei.
Sandmeiser Aki passed away in 2024. He lives on in my work.
My Japanese partners have pushed me further than all others. I have learned a lot about respect and honour.
