Klaus Bösch is The Sandman

Hello!
My name is Klaus Bösch also called Sandman. Here’s a summary of my career.

SAND ART SINCE 1988
I have developed the primitive and simple sandpicture of the 1980ies, added mental and spiritual attributes to a trivial craftsmanship and hence elevated it to an art form. Today I am still searching on, trying new materials, enjoy the outcomes and please people around the world with an easy to understand form of art. I permanently improve working processes to easy our hard work and to achieve better results. Teaching assistants is important to pass on my knowledge to future generations.

THE ARTIST
My first drawings are dating back in 1983. Before that I already was intrigued by photography. In 1986 I was member of a pop band for a short time. At that time my good friend Werner Pieper handed me a sandpictured. Immediately I knew that the fascination which took me away should be available for many people. That’s why I quit all my other creative endeavours to concentrate on the medium sandart alone.

Sandman was born.

PORTFOLIO
It would be exhausting to list hundreds of exhibitions which I participated in. Nevertheless allow me to name a few highlights, like the window decoration for Louis Vuitton in 2017. For two months my sand arts were the magnet in the windows of over 1,100 stores world-wide. I have created gifts for the King of Saudi Arabia and the late Sultan of Oman. For the Royals Court of Jordan and the United Arabian Emirates I created series on the occasion of state anniversaries. Several tailored works and huge installations can be found in hotels or are in the hands of private collectors.

Over 38 years of continuity earned me the title of The Real Master Of Sand Art.
No challenge too big, no limit too far!

Enjoy Sandman’s art works!
