LOOK THROUGH A PORTHOLE
In the early 1990ies Sandman had the idea to put a sand art into a porthole. It would be a fantstic vision of looking out a boat which is moving by ever changing landscapes. At that time there were only original portholes available, which cost more than this complete sand art. Two decades later he found this decor version of a porthole. Finally he was able to make one of his dreams come true.
The frame is a cast of solid brass with an antique finish. The sand blend with brown, black white minerals with some gold glitters is matching the frame.
Captain Haddock by the way is the name of the slightly eccentric captain in Herge’s Tintin comic series.
