We also offer stands to use it as a desktop piece: Movie S includes a simple table mount. You could also pick an additional acrylic table mount in the accessories site.
We put background images behind the sand scene, enhancing the sand art an extra layer, adding even more depth to it. This background image is a photo, Sandman has taken at Lake Constance. The sand blend contains brown and white minerals with a hint of ruby and bright golden glitters. The design has a soft character, Sandman says it is quite feminine. It is the longest selling Movie design, produced since 1998!
Since 1994 Sandman has designed many different Movie types. Check out the options we offer right now.
Are you looking for some distraction or relaxation? Our moving sand art is perfectly made for that. It is the best gift because it’s full of life and always changing.

RELAXING AND EXCITING
Moving sand art has a kind of magic, enchanting young and old alike.
That magic is caused by the curvy and slow movement of the sands on their way down to bottom. From brain research we know that certain kind of movements can sooth us. Like watching a fire or a waterfall. Those are the kind of movements sending the signal no danger here. They produce alpha waves in our brain, causing a calm and concentrated state of mind.
Using sand art for soothing and relaxing is the simplest kind of meditation. And it works without learning any techniques: turn the picture, watch and relax.
You will turn it again and again, just because you are curious about how the next sand formation will look alike.

YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR SAND ART!
