Description
This is an original KB masterpiece, created in single action by Sandman himself, even though this is a limited edition. To understand the difference: KB collection sandpictures are made in series. The materials are sourced in proper quantities from suppliers who produce quantities. If you ask the question, why this picture is so expensive, mind that a KB collection is the better choice for you.
Rich Gold is an adaption of the window decoration Sandman created for Louis Vuitton in 2017. The Sand Factory then produced the quantities needed to equip 1,100 storefronts world-wide. It was the highlight in those windows for 2 months. Rich Gold is not exactly the same design, because that was an exclusive contract. The basic elements, namely the golden frame and a very similar sand blend.
If you want to learn more about Sandman’s original works, have a look at Etsy in the shop KBmasterpieces or at Artmajeur. Or get in touch with us to get more details. In spring 2026 we will launch a separate site with Sandman’s artworks.
Basically this sand art has the same attributes like the KB collection: relaxing, soothing and always different – just with the extra value of being an original work of Sandman.
