Water evaporates steadily in micro doses throuh the sealant. That’s why you should refill water once a year. Use still water or our original refill liquid. Never use distilled or de-mineralized water. How do you know when it’s time to refill water?
1. A large amount of air has assembled: inject water – take air out (the same amount) – repeat until the amount of air is according to the airscale. If you just inject water without taking air out, the glass might crack. Precise instructions can be found in our user’s manual.
2.The amount of air is according to the airscale but the sand takes more than 50 % of the surface: insert water. With that the space between the glass panes will be enlarged and the sand horizon is going down. Insert water until the sand level is slightly below half of the display. Remark: use a tape to mark the center of the glass.
Follow these instructions accordingly. Our guarantee does not cover broken glasses as a result of over-filling the sand art.
