Your sand art is moving too slowly or the sands stop moving at all? What could be the reasons? 1. In a brand new sand art the water is still reacting with the minerals. Extra oxygen is the result of those chemical reactions. Take air out, use the airscale to find the right amount. Don’t refill water into a brand new sand art! 2. Your sand art has been standing still for a while. The sands are compacting and build up pressure to the glass panes. As a result of that, air will be sucked into the sand art. Take out air using the airscale. No need to refill water unless the picture had been standing for months. 3. Water evaporates slowly. In reverse, air will intrude into the picture. If your sand art is older than one year you should replace the excess air with water. Read the following link therefore.
